Adventure Park

This park is located in Storrs and is an outdoor adventure park. It is based on the “Aerial Forest Park” model, which is a popular concept in Europe but is new to the US. This concept is about getting people outdoors and participating in healthy activities while building strength, endurance, and confidence. It features zip lines, trails, and challenge bridges.

Lake Compounce and Crocodile Cove

Lake Compounce is the country’s oldest continuously operating amusement park. It has many attractions for all ages. “Boulder Dash” is the most popular ride and was voted the World’s #1 Wooden Coaster. The park is located in Bristol and admission includes Crocodile Cove Water Park. Crocodile Cove is Connecticut’s largest water park; it has wave pools, water slides, a lake, and other water rides.

Nature’s Art Village

Located in Montville, this adventure park has a splash pad, a silver mine, panning for gold, and The Gateway Museum. It is well known for “The Dinosaur Place,” which has nature trails and features life sized dinosaurs, a maze, and a playground.

Ocean Beach Park

This park is located in New London by the beach. It has a boardwalk, kid and family rides, an arcade, mini golf, a pool, and a waterslide.

Quassy Amusement Park and Splash Away Bay

This amusement park is located in Middlebury and is home to roller coasters, a drop tower, and kids rides. “Wooden Warrior” is the most popular ride and is a well-known wooden roller coaster.

Splash Away Bay is a water park located in Quassy Amusement Park. It has water slides, raft rides, an kids play structure, and a swimming beach. Splash Away Bay admission is included with admission to Quassy Amusement Park.

On Track Karting

On Track Karting is an indoor go kart facility that has two locations in Connecticut, Brookefield and Wallingford. These facilities have karting for adults (ages 15 and up), as well as for juniors (ages 7-14).
