Dollywood and Splash Country

This park is located in Pigeon Forge and is partially owned by Dolly Parton, a famous singer. It features roller coasters, spinning rides, kids rides and more. One of the most popular rides at the park is “Lightning Rod,” a ride that goes more than 20 stories high and 45 mph. Another popular attraction at the park is “Dolly’s Home-on-Wheels,” Dolly Parton’s tour bus. Visitors can tour this bus and learn more about her career.

Splash Country is the water park in Dollywood and is included with admission. It is advertised as “The Smokies #1 place for summer fun” and features slides, raft rides, a lazy river, a kids play area, a wave pool, mat racing and more. There is also an indoor water park at The Resort at Governor’s Crossing near Dollywood.

Lake Winnepesaukah and Soakya Water Park

Lake Winnepesaukah Park is technically located in Rossville but it is advertised as being located in Chattanooga. It features kid rides, family rides, and thrill rides. The park has a small water park that is included with admission called Soakya Water Park. This park features many slides and other fun water activities.

Ober Gatlinburg

This park is located in Gatlinburg and is a ski resort in the winter and an amusement park in the summer. In the summer, it features an aerial ride that has a view of the Smoky Mountains, a mountain coaster, a rock climbing wall, an alpine slide, a chair swing, a carousel, an arcade, kids rides, water rides and more.

The Island

This is a theme park that is located in Pigeon Forge. It features rides including a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a ropes course, a roller coaster, an arcade, bumper cars, carnival games and more. It is also has lots of restaurants and shopping.

Wilderness at the Smokies

This water park is located in Sevierville and is the largest indoor water park in Tennessee. It is open year round and features a pool, tube slides, a surfing simulator, a hot tub and more. It also features two outdoor water parks, three ropes courses, laser tag, and an arcade.

Wild Bear Falls

This outdoor water park is located in Gatlinburg and is mountain themed. It is home to a play structure for kids, a 900-foot long lazy river, a hot tub, an activity pool, a body slide, a tube slide and more.

Anakeesta

This theme park is located in the mountains in Gatlinburg and features a scenic ride, tree canopy walk, children’s playground, a zip line, a mountain coaster, gem mining and more.

Nashville Shores

This outdoor water park is located in Hermitage and features eight slides, three pools, and a lake. One of the most popular attractions is “The Big Scream,” a slide. It also has zip lines, swings, and ropes courses.

The Wetlands

This outdoor water park is located in Jonesborough and features a lazy river, a zero-depth pool, and four slides: an 80-foot slide, 100-foot slide, 200-foot slide and a children’s slide. It also has play areas for children.
