Kansas’s Theme and Water Parks

Kansas only has a few small water parks and no amusement or theme parks. It is important to note that one water park in Kansas City recently closed. Schlitterbahn Water Park closed after the death of a boy in 2016 and is not likely to reopen this season. Due to this incident, legislation and regulations around theme and water parks have become more strict.
