Idaho’s Amusement and Water Parks

Idaho has a few theme and water parks as well as some non traditional hot springs parks. These parks are great to enjoy year round! If you are interested in visiting one of Idaho’s parks, read on for more information.

Idaho’s Amusement and Water Parks

Downata Hot Springs

Located in Downata, this indoor and outdoor water park has a swimming pool, hot pools, a water playground, and water slides. The water park also has a spa, a campground, cabins, yurts, a restaurant, a playground, basketball courts, volleyball, and more.

Lava Hot Springs

This water park is located in Lava and is not a traditional water park, it has hot springs. This park has hot springs and hot pools, an outdoor swimming complex, and an indoor aquatic center. The hot springs pools range from temperatures of 102 to 112 and are open year round. The outdoor swimming complex has an outdoor olympic pool, diving platforms, and water slides and is open in the summer. The indoor aquatic center has an indoor pool, diving board, aqua climb wall, hot pool, and “Portneuf Kiddie Cove.” This park is for families and kids of all ages.

Raptor Reef Water Park and Triple Play Family Fun Park

This small water park is dinosaur themed and is geared toward families. Its attractions include a wave pool with three-foot waves, slides, a two-story play area, and an indoor and outdoor water park. “The Constrictor” is the most popular water slide and is one of the top five most extreme slides in the world. Raptor Reef Water Park is part of Triple Play Family Fun Park. Triple Play offers bowling, bumper boats, a climbing wall, bumper cars, mini golf, go karts, laser tag and more.

Roaring Springs and Wahooz

Roaring Springs is a water park located in Meridian that features over 20 water rides and attractions including a wave pool, lazy river, kids’ play area, slides, and more. Wahooz is part of Roaring Springs and features go-karts, laser tag, an arcade, bumper boats, bowling  and more.

Silver Rapids Water Park at Silver Mountain Resort

This indoor water park is located in Kellogg and is the state’s largest indoor water park. It features a FlowRider surfing simulator, a raft ride, an interactive water play structure, water slides, a kids pool, and an activity pool. Silver Mountain Resort guests get admission to this park.

Silverwood and Boulder Beach

This outdoor amusement park and water park is Idaho’s largest amusement park and water park. It features over 30 rides and attractions including six roller coasters, three slides, two wave pools, and a lazy river.

Yellowstone Bear World

This park is located in Rexburg and is a drive-thru wildlife park that features small rides including a roller coaster, a train, a spinning ride, and more. The rides are included with admission and for younger children.
