Wild Waves Theme and Water Park

This is an outdoor amusement park located in Federal Way and features thrill rides, family rides, and kids rides. One of the most popular rides in the theme park is “Timberhawk Ride of Prey,” a roller coaster that is the largest wooden roller coaster in Washington. The water park features slides, a wave pool, a hot tub and more. One of the most popular attractions at the water park is “Mountain Dew Slide Complex,” three fast-paced body slides.

Great Wolf Lodge

This indoor water park is part of the Great Wolf Lodge chain and is located in Grand Mound. It features hot springs, water slides, a kids play area and more. One of the most popular attractions is “Alberta Falls,” a four story tall tube ride.

Riverfront Park

This park is located in Spokane and is home to a carousel, a jumping ride, the “skyride,” pedal karts, scooters, skates and more. The “skyride” is the most popular attraction and is a cable ride that gives riders scenic views. This ride was named “One of the Top 12 Scenic Cable Rides in the World” in 2013 by Conde Nast Traveller, Daily Traveller and MSN.

Surf ‘n’ Slide Water Park

This outdoor water park is located in Moses Lake and features a surfing simulator, a lazy river, a kids play area, body and tube slides, diving boards and more.

Seattle Great Wheel

This giant Ferris wheel is located in Seattle on Pier 57. There are other things to do on Pier 57 including a flying ride called “Wings over Washington,” and restaurants.

Washington State Fair

This state fair is only open for a few weeks in August and September. It features animals, kids rides, a Ferris wheel, and a bounce house. The bounce house is the “Worlds Biggest Bounce House.”
