New Hampshire’s Theme and Water Parks
New Hampshire does not have any major theme parks but it does have water parks and a few smaller theme parks. Check out this list of water and theme parks in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire’s Water and Theme Parks
Water Country
This water park is located in Portsmouth and is for families. It features tube and body slides, rides, a wave pool, lazy river, an activity pool, and a kids play area. It is home to New England’s largest wave pool and also has a ¼ mile long river.
Whale’s Tale
This outdoor water park is located in Lincoln and feature a wave pool, lazy river, a water play structure, 11 water slides and more. “The Plunge” is one of the most popular rides and reaches 40 miles per hour.
Canobie Lake Park and Castaway Island
Canobie Lake Park is located in Salem and features thrill rides, family rides, kids rides and more. One of the most popular attractions is “Yankee Cannonball,” a traditional wooden coaster. Castaway Island Water Park is included with admission to Canobie Lake Park and features water rides, slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river.
Santa’s Village
This Jefferson theme park is the original Santa’s Village and is Christmas themed. It features bumper cars, spinning rides, a Ferris wheel, a train, water slides, a log flume, a small roller coaster and more. In October 2019, construction was completed on Polar Paradise, a water park for children. This water park will feature slides, spray zones, and a small pool.
Story Land
This fairy tale-themed park is located in Glen and is advertised as “New Hampshire’s best amusement park for kids.” It features over 30 attractions including kid-friendly rides, a carousel, an interactive play area and more.
Candia Springs
This outdoor water park is located in Candia and features two body slides, two speed slides, a spray ground, an obstacle course and more. Candia Springs has attractions for all ages. For younger children, it has New England’s largest spray ground. For older kids, it has fast-paced slides that have drops and turns.
Kahuna Laguna
This indoor water park is located in North Conway and is Northern New England’s first indoor water park. It was nominated as one of USA Today’s top 20 indoor water parks in North America. It features water slides, a wave pool, an adventure center, a hot tub, an arcade, and a kids play area.
Hampton Beach
This park is located in Hampton and features two arcades, water slides, mini-golf and more. It was voted the “#1 boardwalk in the country” by readers of Coastal Living Magazine and is home to the largest water slide in Hampton Beach.
Clark’s Trading Post
This theme park is located in Lincoln and features a bear show, train ride, bumper boats, a climbing tower and more. It is most well-known for its bear show which features trained bears.
