Nebraska’s Theme and Water Parks

Fun-Plex

This water park is located in Omaha and is Nebraska’s largest outdoor water park. It features a wave pool, lazy river, two slides, a water playground, a kid’s pool, a swim up bar, and more. It also features 12 rides including go-karts, spinning rides, a ferris wheel, bumper cars, and more. One of the most popular attractions at this park is “Rockin’ Rapids,” a slide that is advertised as “one of the tallest and longest slides of its kind in the country.”

CoCo Key Water Resort

This Key West-themed indoor water park is located in Omaha. It features a water play structure for children, a lazy river, a zero-depth entry wading pool, body and tube slides, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a game room, and more. The most popular attractions at this water park are the four story tall slides. The park is open year-round and is always kept at 84 degrees.

Island Oasis

This outdoor water park is located in Grand Island and is geared toward families. It features a wave pool, lazy river, five slides, a zero-depth pool, and more. The park features attractions for all ages. For older kids, the park has a two-story high slide and four 150-foot long slides. For younger kids, the park features spray fountains, an area to build sand castles, and a small water slide.

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park Family Aquatic Center

This small outdoor water park is located in Lincoln. It features a swimming pool, two water slides, a zero-entry wave pool, diving area, sun deck, and more. The park is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. This water park is part of a bigger state park that features rope courses, mini golf, an arts and crafts center, ice skating, horse trail rides, and more.

AquaVenture

This outdoor water park is located in Norfolk and features a raft slide, a body slide, a Play Station, a wave pool, a recreation pool, zumba classes, and more. The raft slide is the longest slide and is as long as a football field. The Play Station is popular among younger children, it has over 20 water features.

Boulder Creek Amusement Park

This park is located in Omaha and features an 18-hole mini golf course, a 24-foot tall climbing wall, batting cages, and more. The climbing wall is advertised as “the safest climbing system available in America.” This park is home to the largest outdoor batting cage complex; it is 93-feet deep and 35-feet high.

Amazing Pizza Machine Indoor Family Entertainment Center

This family entertainment center is located in Omaha and features over 170 games, rides, and attractions including go-karts, thrill rides, laser tag, arcade games, bowling, and an unlimited buffet. The rides include bumper cars, a mini tower ride, and go-kart racing. The arcade features prize games, ticket games, token games, and video games.
